Now, if you choose to, and you are a part of Vancouver, Fraser Valley, Calgary, Edmonton or Victoria Real Estate Boards you can have your listing automatically update themselves within your Ubertor website. If you want this feature enabled, just click on live help and our team will enable this feature for you. What does this mean? It means that your website will sync with the boards listing data every night and update new listings, sold listings or changes in your listing.

Now, not all of you will enable this feature as the downside of it is that your website will use the photos that the board provides, meaning they will be shrunk down to the boards specifications. Agents that use professional photographers should continue to manually update their listings themselves as the Ubertor system uses the full size photo, making your listings shine!

The choice is yours. Feel free to contact live help and ask them to enable this feature for you. There is no extra cost, we just need to flip the switch for you. Then you can turn in on or off – your choice.

I talk to Realtors every day and it seems that most don’t put much emphasis on their online marketing. They have websites, and use email, but still focus their time and money on offline marketing efforts. Calgary Realtor, Kelley Skar, has launched a second Ubertor website called NWCalgaryLiving.com focused on the north west side of Calgary Alberta. We built out the Ubertor Landing Page tool a while back and many of our clients have been using it to create landing pages for their on/off line advertisements. Below is an example of what Kory Prince has been doing with his landing page. The landing page tool within Ubertor allows you to create a special page within your website that is not visible to visitors that come through the domain name. It is meant for directing Google Adwords, Facebook Ads and the like to a specific page within your website. The tool allows you to hide the navigation, the banner image, the masthead, the site footer and/or the default widgets. The idea is that you can test the page layout to see what works for lead generation.

Cool idea from the marketing team at The Key. They hired a helicopter to take a few REALTORS on a tour of the new tower from EPTA Properties. From The Key’s website:

The first ever helicopter tour specifically for Chinese realtors took off into the sunny skies above Vancouver airport yesterday afternoon. Four of the city’s top Chinese realtors, including Chris Chan (Regent Park Realty), Austin Kay (Remax), Thomas S.B. Chiu (Legend Real Estate) and Lu Wei (Coldwell Banker), were flown from Richmond to White Rock on a HeliJet to observe what you can only see from the air – White Rock’s proximity to Richmond and its incredible natural beauty.

The tour was designed to showcase AVRA, the soon-to-be built 17-storey concrete tower, located in the heart of downtown White Rock. One of the city’s few highrises, AVRA will offer unobstructed views of the ocean and mountains, proximity to excellent schools (with the world renowned IB program), Richmond and the Vancouver airport and a unique opportunity to customize your dream home in the sky.

We just added a few new template variations to the Ubertor REALTOR website platform. Within the template drop down menu you will now see two new template options build in RE/MAX Red, White and Blue. Let us know what you think and watch for more variations.

I had the honor of speaking at the Banff Western Connection Conference last week in Banff, AB. It was a fantastic conference – really well put together. (You should think about attending the next one)
