A few weeks ago Ubertor officially rolled out the mobile version for every Ubertor website. The mobile version allows for a simple and easy way to surf and navigate through your Ubertor website on your mobile phone.

By default, the mobile version will display the Home, Listings, Blog, and Contact page. It will also show your brokerage, and your full name at the top of the site, with your contact details located at the bottom. A clear example is shown above for Kelley Skar’s Ubertor website above.

If you click into any of the pages using your mobile phone, you’ll notice how easy it is to navigate and view the contents of the page. Above, you’ll see how a listing will display itself right on your mobile phone. It takes the details right off your website and gracefully makes it all work with the listing price, photos, and information.

The Ubertor system also allows you to customize your mobile template. Above you’ll see Dave Snider’s website - a custom site built right on Ubertor’s system. Using the CSS mobile option built into his control panel Dave was able to create the same design he has on his website, for his mobile version as well.

Above you’ll see how to use the mobile functions right in your Ubertor control panel. It’s straightforward, and simple to use. Remember, you can customize your mobile template just like your website through the CSS.

Jennifer Birch, from RE/MAX Garden City Realty Inc. Brokerage in Burlington, Ontario has just launched a new website on the Ubertor platform. It is a slick looking wide format site that has been customized by an Ubertor Approved Vendor. I asked Kye Grace, what he thought of the work they did for Jennifer, here is what he said; “I like the simple clear navigation, it is very clear to visitors how to get to pages that solve their problem. Searching for homes, requesting a home evaluation or contacting Jennifer, it is all right there as soon as they arrive.” Check out her site!

Montreal agent Alexandre Sebe has launched a new website on the Ubertor platform with a custom design. His new website is all about news and blogging. The home page is split into two feeds, one for text blogs and one for video, and then within the news section it is broken down to 8 categories. Take a moment to check out Alexandre’s website.

Yesterday I had the opportunity to drop in on Gary Chambers of the famous TractorView.com. I was driving from Saskatchewan back towards Calgary to make an evening flight to Vancouver. I had some time, so took a detour to Drumheller, AB to drop in on Gary and check out his farm. Gary is a full time farmer, operating his family farm of over 2000 acres, while being a full time Realtor as well as owner of the local Century 21 office.

It was an interesting trip, I pulled into Gary’s office downtown Drumheller where he gave me the tour of his office and then we jumped into his truck and I tagged along with him for a couple meetings. We met with an investor interested in buying a 12 unit building there (that we toured), as well as a developer who was building a new neighbourhood of a half a dozen houses or so. Then, we took off to visit Gary’s farm.

Gary had to spray the fields and took me along for a ride on the tractor. I shot some video while standing carefully outside the cab on the edge of the walkway. Check out the video below as Gary gives me a little education on the tractor and what he is doing, as well as how he deals with his real estate clients while he is working on the farm.

It is a great example of how todays technology is changing how business is done. Gary, in the middle of his farm, outside of Drumheller, and can be completely in touch with his clients, including dealing with paperwork all through his iPad. Check it out:

I thought this was an interesting video for our real estate readers. My brother’s company, Provident Security, has a service available called NightOwl. It is perfect for real estate developers, commercial landlords, construction companies plus many others who have material around a job site during the night (or when no one is working). Check out this video from the other day where 2 people were caught on the property of the new Cactus Club being built in Abbotsford. Abbotsford Police arrested both.
