Cathie Cline, an Ubertor client, has updated her website to have a new look and feel. It looks like the work was done by Sweet Pea Creative and it looks great. This is another example of how you don’t have to live within a website template anymore and how you can have your own look and feel. If you want to do that, check out our Approved Vendors for some design assistance. Check her new site out here

WANTED: CSS Designers Looking for Work

Wednesday, May 7th, 2008

Are you a CSS web designer looking for some design work?
Are you excellent in design, but not so good at sales?

Take a moment to check out the Ubertor Approved Vendor program. We have lots of design work being past onto our vendors and you could be one of those vendors. Email bryan /@/ ubertor.com if you are interested in learning more.

One of our Approved Vendors has this on every email he sends out:
“Please note, we are currently fully booked and are taking reservations on a project by project basis. We apologize for any delays. Our goal is to provide the best level of service and design and therefore we are limiting our projects to maintain these standards. Thank you for your understanding and thank you to all our amazing clients for allowing us to design for you.”

Interested in getting some design work? We can help you by passing business to you. Keep in mind, all of our Approved Vendors must pass a test to be certified. We do this to ensure that they are qualified to work with the Ubertor software.

Also I just finished writing the previous post and was emailed almost immediately with another great example of a customized Ubertor website. Check out www.povodenproperties.com:

Extra Wide Realtor Website

Saturday, March 22nd, 2008

As you may have read in this blog, the Ubertor Realtor website software has its CSS unlocked so that any CSS designer can customize your website.

As I’m sure your aware, computer screens are getting larger these days and with larger screens being the norm. With that, comes a great first for Ubertor. The first 3rd party designed Ubertor website has been launched that is 1024 wide. This wider website allows for more flexibility with the content and takes advantage of the larger screens that are now in use across the internet.

If your thinking about reskining your Ubertor website, think about adding some width to it. It will give you lots of options when designing the new website.

“the man who tamed Ubertor”

Tuesday, January 22nd, 2008

I saw a blog post over at Realty Support that was discussing some customizations that a CSS programmer did to an Ubertor clients website. Looks like Tracey Lebedovich, the designer, created a custom look for James B and then had GetCConsulting do the CSS work to bring the design to life within the Ubertor software.

Take a moment to check out JamesB.ca and you can see what “the man who tamed Ubertor” did. They have done some pretty unique things on his website and it looks really great.

Here is what Tracey said about GetCConsulting:

“And on that note… You’ve done an absolutely wonderful job on this site John. You should now be officially recognized as the man who tamed Ubertor and created a one-of-a-kind, custom-looking design within the constraints of a template! You should be congratulated for pushing the design and function limits to the max. Thanks for your patience and attention to detail – it shows.”

Here is what John emailed me:

“This is a major makeover using a high-quality custom design from Tracey Lebedovich at gloriousday.com and certainly the most ambitious Ubertor project that I’ve ever coded.

jamesb.ca clearly demonstrates the quality of website that a good designers and CSS programmers can accomplish with Ubertor.”

Congrats to Tracey and John for pushing the customization abilities of Ubertor.

- - There are lots of great sites being customized using CSS. Here are a couple of examples.
