Showcase Properties via Google Maps

Wednesday, December 14th, 2011

For Ubertor websites that have “autofill categories” (AFCs) there is a new feature available that will showcase the listings nicely on a Google Map. This is a fantastic way to show these AFC listings in a different view so that your clients can actually see where they are in the specific neighbourhood.

For example, have a looked at Calgary Realtor Kelley Skar’s website. He has broken out specific areas to showcase their listings. In this case, we are looking at “Country Hills Real Estate” from the list view:

If the user clicks on map view, the same listings are showcased on a Google Map so that the user can navigate around the map to see where each property is.

Updated Feature: Custom Feature Sheet Disclaimer

Thursday, November 24th, 2011

We had a few requests from international brokerages who have agents using our websites from different parts of the world, for the ability to have custom disclaimers on the feature sheets that our system puts out. Well, this functionality was added to the system. Now, any agent can add a custom disclaimer to their website, so that when someone downloads the feature sheet (pdf) it showcases their unique disclaimer. You can see this feature by clicking “Listings” then “Options” in your control panel.

Ubertor Mobile Rolled Out On Every Ubertor Website

Wednesday, June 29th, 2011

Above features (From L-R) Ubertor’s mobile version on an iPhone of a Realtor’s listing, a custom mobile website, and the home page of a Realtor’s website using the mobile template

A few weeks ago Ubertor officially rolled out the mobile version for every Ubertor website. The mobile version allows for a simple and easy way to surf and navigate through your Ubertor website on your mobile phone.

By default, the mobile version will display the Home, Listings, Blog, and Contact page. It will also show your brokerage, and your full name at the top of the site, with your contact details located at the bottom. A clear example is shown above for Kelley Skar’s Ubertor website above.

If you click into any of the pages using your mobile phone, you’ll notice how easy it is to navigate and view the contents of the page. Above, you’ll see how a listing will display itself right on your mobile phone. It takes the details right off your website and gracefully makes it all work with the listing price, photos, and information.

The Ubertor system also allows you to customize your mobile template. Above you’ll see Dave Snider’s website - a custom site built right on Ubertor’s system. Using the CSS mobile option built into his control panel Dave was able to create the same design he has on his website, for his mobile version as well.

Above you’ll see how to use the mobile functions right in your Ubertor control panel. It’s straightforward, and simple to use. Remember, you can customize your mobile template just like your website through the CSS.

Feel free to contact us if your have any questions regarding this new feature.

How Is Your Website Doing?

Friday, May 27th, 2011

We added the website overview numbers to the dashboard a few months ago and since then I have received a quite a few questions from clients asking – what should my numbers be? or are these good?

There is no right answer.

This is not a video game, high numbers do not necessarily mean guaranteed success, but we wanted to be able to show clients in a quick overview how their website was growing. Yes the leads number is usually way off as the leads part is only tracking people that fill in an online form on your website, so people that email you directly, phone you, Facebook message you, etc are not tracked. But the rest of the numbers give you a great idea of how your website is growing.

So, in the interest of sharing, here are some other clients numbers from their website overviews.

If your just new to Ubertor, yours probably looks like this:

But if you have been at it for a bit, here is what your might look like:
