Now, within all Ubertor websites you can quickly and easily create a “mini-site” for an individual listing. Now when your doing your listing presentation you can tell the homeowner that you will have a specific domain name for their property that directs all visitors to their home within your website.
What a way to show the homeowner that you mean business!

Using the “mini-site” tab with any of your listings you can register a domain name and point it right to that specific listing.

For example, you could register 1388West6th.com and have it go directly to http://www.martyhomes.com/Properties.php/Details/208/details

Content means testimonials, blogging, listings, solds, etc. The more content you have the better your site will do within the search engines. Quality content attracts visitors. Well, at Ubertor, our live chat functionality within your Ubertor control panel has been very well received. So, we have taken it to the next level an introduced it into the front portion of our software. Now, your website visitors can chat live with your web assistant. Who is your web assistant? Well, we are!

On his site, you will see the live chat button on a few of his pages. Our team will chat live with his visitors and answer questions that they may have. Many of the questions our team will be able to answer. The ones that can not be answered, our customer service team will request contact information of the visitor and forward their question and contact information to the agent. This feature will act as a great service for the website visitor as well as a lead generator. (if it is outside our customer service hours, it will flip to an “unavailable” button that asks the visitor to leave their contact info)

Greg Swann over at Blood Hound Realty in Phoenix writes about his experiences blogging and if he thinks his blog is a lead generator. He also mentions that he and his son are working to “build content that will look like an Ubertor site“. His opinion of blogging sounds like it is what we preach in our training and coaching sessions. Blog, blog, blog, but write the blog for your readers and the search engines will come. It is ok to do a mild “touch up” for the search engines but it should be written for your readers. I think the true importance of having a blog is to add a human side to your website. Your average real estate site is pretty basic, listings, biography and contact information. Having a blog allows you to personalize your website. Have a look at Greg’s blog… without knowing him or having ever met him you get a great idea of who he is, what he thinks and why he does what he does.

Kris and Steve Berg, new clients of ours in San Diego have a great picture of a moving truck getting a little carried away. Imagine coming home to that.

Stacy over at vOpenHouse.ca mentions our training sessions in his blog as well as his experience when he attended one a few months back.

Jim Duncan, a client of ours and fellow blogger from Charlottesville talks about being “on call” as a real estate agent. I think all entrepreneurs are always “on call” as I know that myself and my business partner defiantly are.

More new features to your Ubertor website

I seem to be writing quite a bit about our software changes these days and this post is about some more of them but I wanted to explain what we are up to. As many of you know, we take our customer comments and feature requests quite seriously and the upcoming months have been dedicated to adding quite a few of the features and changes that agents have been asking for.

You might have noticed that we did a roll out today (roll out = updating Ubertor software with new features) instead of Monday as we are also dealing with the vacation schedules of our teams and today worked better than Monday for a roll out.

So, now within the Ubertor software you will see:
- Dashboard Contact Info Edit Window
- Updated Open House Message and Interface
- Added Word and Excel Files to Document Drop down
- Mortgage Calculator Added to Property Details Links Box
- Updated Interface to Extras Tab

Let me break these down quickly one at a time:

1. Dashboard Contact Info Edit Window
Within our software you can quickly and easily edit your contact information, company name, company logo etc. We have moved the ability to change this information out of the “Preferences” tab so that it is right onto the “Dashboard” of your control panel. This now gives you the ability to quickly and easily update, add, change, delete your contact information, company name, company logo, etc.

2. Updated Open House Message and Interface
open house long island new yorkOur Open House module gives you the ability to add open house information to a specific listing. We build this function in as many clients requested it and we noticed the “work arounds” that they were doing prior to our software having the feature. The neat thing about this part of the Ubertor system is that a real estate agent can add an open house to any listing at any time. Our system allows the Realtor to add a date, start time, end date and comments directly to the listing.

Automatically our software will:
i) add the Open House badge to the listing photos
ii) mark the listing with the Open House date, time and comments
iii) add an Open House page automatically to the navigation
iv) plus, it will remove all of this automatically when the Open House is over

This is a very effective way to keep the website fresh and up to date. Plus we automate many of the features so that the real estate agent does not have to remember to remove the date.

3. Added Word and Excel Files to Document Drop down

Another new feature, this time within the content manager section of the Ubertor software, a real estate agent can load Word and Excel. That means that Realtors can load these files into the content manager so that they can use them within any page of their website.

This feature was added as many agents add Word or Excel documents that include market stats, comparable data, sold listing information, etc. It is a great addition to the software and a few of our agents that have been asking for it are already using it.

4. Mortgage Calculator Added to Property Details Links Box
mortgage calculatorThis is a cosmetic change to the front side of our web sites. We have removed the mortgage calculator from the tab portion of the listings and added it to the property details link box. We did this so that we can make room for the new tabs that we are working on. (there are a few new functions coming into the system that will make our listings engine even better than it already is)

5. Updated Interface to Extras Tab
This is what I updated in the post just before this one. Please take a moment to review that as it talks about the “extras” tab and the features that it provides. In short, there is now an editable tab that a real estate agent can edit to suit a specific listings needs.
