Vancouver Realtor Julia Lau launched a new website. The only problem is that it is a complete copy of an Ubertor website. It Is Flattering To Be Copied; But When Do You Consider Something Out Right Theft? The really funny thing is that she choose to copy an old version of one of our templates. We stopped offering this template almost 2 years ago.

Why would you bother doing this? Is saving $37/month really worth it?

Realtors don’t pay a monthly fee for our software because of our templates.

They pay the monthly fee for the constant improvement to our system; the search engine optimization; the live support; the flexibility; the customization; the look and feel of their listings; the foresight of the system; the video integration; the built in blog; plus much much more.

How do I know that this is not just a similar looking website? (lots of our competitors copy our look and feel) But check the source code; you will notice the word “ubertor” in it a few times. I attached an image below.

Now within your Ubertor website you can add video to your listings and have it syndicated to YouTube.com and Vimeo.com. Not only does it go to these powerful video websites to help expose your listing but it updates the E-Flyer that is automatically built into each of your listings.

Now when you add your E-Flyer to Craigslist.org it will show your photos, property description as well as any videos that you have added. Here is an example of a rental listing in the Ubertor system that is using video and the E-Flyer.

My business partner Michael Stephenson and our lead programmer are down in San Francisco this week attending Google I/O. Our development team has upgraded the links module within the control panel. Before it was a little clunky to make changes to your links. Now, it is a breeze. Check out the video that our lead developer made to show you the new feature.

Now when you upload photos to your listings in your Ubertor website, you don’t have to manually move each photo to its desired position. You can now drag the photo in the position you want. Check out this video for more details:

Within the Ubertor realtor website software you can click on the “EFlyer” tab to instantly create a virtual flyer of any of your listings. The “EFlyer” tab is found within every listing and was created so that you can quickly and easily get your listings into Craigslist. Below is an example of a virtual flyer from a Vancouver real estate agents listings. Check it out, log into your website and add your listings to Craigslist using the EFlyer tab in your listings. If you don’t have an Ubertor website, then create one here and play with the feature. Remember, your first 30 days are free.
