Foreign investment has been strongly impacting the Vancouver housing market. It has increased steadily over the last decade and continues to be a main driver to the increasing prices of detached homes. This new demographic of big buyers has meant a necessary readjustment for realtors. Recently Chinese real estate agents have been dominating the high-end real estate market in Vancouver, running websites that specifically targets offshore buyers.
On Thursday March 20, 2014, two happy Ubertor team members went to attend their first class at Zen U: College of Customer Happiness. Offered by Zendesk as an opportunity for their users to learn more about their product, Ubertor sent Crystal Lai (UberCrystal) and Danica Lopez De Leon (UberDanica) in Vancouver, to absorb some 'Zendesk knowledge'.
Please join us in welcoming Danica Lopez De Leon (UberDanica) to the Ubertor team! Her energetic personality is already a big asset to helping out our clients and providing remarkable service.
On December 4, 2013, many Realtors turned up at a picturesque country club to celebrate a great year! Showing up for some Christmas cheer in fancy attire, they were able to enjoy a day of food and fun, with Ubertor as the primary sponsor. Of course, members of our team were on hand to answer any questions, and even tease new screen shots of what we will release in the new year.
Are you feeling the holiday season yet? Would you like your visitors to feel the same way while visiting your Ubertor website?
In this blog post, I'd like to introduce Ubertor's newest team member, Crystal Lai (UberCrystal). Crystal is well traveled, and has lived in 5 difference cities: Toronto, Hong Kong, Kaohsiung (in Taiwan), Beijing, and Vancouver. She is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

I spent last week working very closely with Ubertor's team in Manila. We spent the week collaborating together on new projects to improve both our internal team culture and Ubertor's feature set. There are a lot of fun and exciting things happening at Ubertor and our entire team is excited for what's next.
We’re getting up close and personal with you…
Last week, I was able to sit down with one of our newest clients, Whistler Realtor Sharon Audley and have a quick one on one consultation to help her build her dream website (which is still a work in progress). Sharon was kind enough to come by our office located in beautiful Whistler British Columbia to discuss how she envisioned what is simply, building her own brand and image to her clients and the general public. After meeting with Sharon, I thought I would write this blog post to share my experience, in hopes of inspiring other Realtors with a few simple rules.
We're happy to welcome and introduce our newest team member - Khaled Elabd (UberKhaled). Khaled has traveled all the way from Ontario to join our team. A passionate fan of the mountains, and the Vancouver Canucks (as you can see below), Whistler was a perfect place for Khaled to call home. When I first met Khaled, he said it was always his dream to live in Beautiful B.C. Now that dream has come true...
Our team has been actively collecting data on our Net Promoter Score (NPS) for close to a year now. When we initially rolled out our campaign we wanted to understand our customer loyalty and what our customers were saying in public to their friends, family and colleagues. What we found a year later was one of great love, and support from our customers. Sure, we hit a few road blocks along the way (every business does), but the majority of customer experiences were really positive.
